Improvements in Energy efficiency could save SMEs £2.7 billion a year by 2030 – Green Alliance, 2020
The UK’s ambition to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 has made energy efficiency a national priority. As businesses are responsible for a quarter of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions, much more energy efficient buildings and industrial processes are needed. The government’s 2030 energy efficiency target for business could save small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around £2.7 billion a year by 2030, and £6 billion a year for UK business as a whole. On-top of this, more on-site renewable, new solar & wind projects have to be connected along with flexible technologies like battery storage to achieve Net Zero targets.
Energy Savers Club is RE-SHAPING the way in which businesses access energy services. Your membership will help us to build Zero Carbon Communities, which will not only save you money but the planet too. Together, we can transform the current energy system by improving energy efficiency and locally sourcing renewable energy.
Our initiative is designed around transparency, allowing our members to easily REDUCE their energy usage, cost and carbon. Energy Savers Club adopts a data driven approach to mobilise energy demand reduction & maximise use of renewable generation, avoiding unnecessary investment in power generation and network infrastructure.
We are proud to be part of the SME Climate Hub.
We REWARD our members for their energy saving actions because we believe that our members can help make a difference. We achieve this by optimising your energy use and matching it with local and renewable generators.
Energy Savers Club has teamed up with business groups, local authorities and community organisations to provide groups of businesses with the tools they need to reach Net-Zero. It’s free to join, with no contractual ties or cancellation fees and is even backed by the UK Government!
To help our members save energy, we offer a variety of rewards:
We give our members cashback for using less energy during carbon intensive periods of the day and shifting to periods when renewable generation is available.
We match members to solar and wind generators within the community, making substantial savings for our members by buying less from the national energy markets.
As part of this initiative, we work with trusted partners to provide support for any installation costs including: solar panels, batteries, smart heating controls and MORE.
We offer all new members a FREE energy efficiency audit, so we can identify the best energy saving tips along with a report suggesting actions your business could benefit from.
After signing up to the club you will be given access to a Dashboard which provides easy-to-follow insights on your energy usage & costs with the ability to track outcomes of your actions.
There will be an initial assessment of your carbon emissions followed by an action plan with carbon targets. We then monitor emissions to help your business progress to Net Zero.
We provide all our members with their very own Energy Management Dashboard, which is tailored specifically to meet and manage the needs of your business.
It’s free to join with no cancellation fees or contractual ties and you don’t have to make any changes to your current energy contract. Simply click the “I want to join” button and fill in the basic contact info. Someone from the Energy Savers Club will be in touch shortly!
